Jim Ibur Handmade Ceramic Dumbeks

Jim Ibur has carefully balanced the elements in creating these fine drums that are both pleasing to the eye and the ear. Jim is one of the great ceramic artists in the area with many achievements and shows to his name. He is also a great musician that understands that all instruments are meant to be played first and foremost.

These drums are crafted by himself personally, from throwing the initial form, glazing the drum in unique patterns, and stretching and attaching the skin head. Each drum has its own personal visual design, but consistently has a deep resonant bass note and loud rim shot sounds that provide a myriad of tones for any hand drummer.
