Music Folk was the home to a great evening of original songs as part of the ongoing Songwriter Night series. We were proud to feature Jonathan Byrd who hails from North Carolina. Rich Simmons performed some great songs, representing the some of the best music St. Louis has to offer.

Rich's songs contrasted nicely with Jonathan's material. Rich continues to play around the St. Louis Metro area in support of his latest release "Flesh, Blood, and Bone". Rich also has a new website design at www.Richsongs.net, which also features performance dates, bio information, and links to some of his friends.

As the evening progressed, the two exchanged songs in a song circle format that worked quite nicely. Towards the end spontaneous accompianment demonstrated both musicians skill.
