Kirk Hanser and John McClellan in Concert 4/29/05

Music Folk was proud one of the world's best classical guitar duos: Hanser/McClellan. As they both have been in the middle of a rather busy schedule, the duo relaxed and shared some stories as well as playing some of the most ferocious classical guitar music one will ever hear. Kirk and John shared their thoughts on modern composers, musician's injuries, practice habits, and hand built classical guitars. This was a special treat for everyone in attendance and we highly encourage everyone to see this duo in action.

Kirk and John are firm believers that all styles of music should be fun and relaxed.

Many of the pieces performed can be found on their latest CD, entitled "La Vida Breve"

Each performer played a solo piece as well, demonstrating true mastery of the instrument regardless of instrumentation.
